Hazard Risk Assessments provide a 24 hour response service in the event of any Bio-Hazard incident to ensure the quickest containment and decontamination of both major and minor contamination. Micro organisms can remain active for long periods of time and only fully trained personnel should be tasked with the decontamination and disinfection of any incident or contaminated site. There is a raised risk of cross infection to employees engaged in such work activities as: cleaners, community care workers, council workers, custodial service workers, first aiders, emergency service personnel, waste collection workers etc. Accident or crime scenes are potentially high risk situations where bio-hazards can easily lead to cross infection and contamination and present health risks to workers dealing with the primary incident. There is a duty of care to ensure that any site is certified free from any risk of infection or cross contamination. HRA ensure that all areas are decontaminated and left hygienically safe, and that all waste and contaminants are safely disposed of. In addition, we provide you with the necessary certification, documented audit procedure ,risk assessments, prevention & control measures to avoid cross contamination, and any monitoring services that you may require. |
